Voices from Our Volunteers
Real stories from mentors, contributors, and placement champions creating lasting wellness across Waterloo Region.
KMFW has welcomed me with open arms from Day 1 and has allowed me to learn while giving back to the community. I feel privileged to be a part of this wonderful organization!
Keep an open mind and listen to feedback. Not everything you try at first may be what your community needs- it is important to listen and adjust to provide the best service possible.
You (supervisor) and the rest of the KMFW team have had a huge meaningful impact on me. You have taught me so so much and I hope to continue to be able to have the opportunity to keep learning from you (supervisor). Thank you
My experience with KMFW has been incredibly meaningful. From the very beginning, I have felt welcomed, supported, and valued as part of the team.
